Shridev Suman rajkiya district library established in 1923 in the honor of our freedom fighter Shridev Suman whose contribution to India’s independence were remarkable.

Despite of its historical significance this library has been going through multiple changes in recent time like on March 2000 old library moved to New library at new tihri nagar after following renovational developement.

 
Recently “Pustak yatra” has been organize by teacher, library volunteers, students to promote educational learning & to attract the audience’s attention through innovative ideas.

This public library basically offer lifelong learning & foster community connections through modern education & cultural & traditional experiences & establish an information hierarchy in modern time.

This district library has been gone through multiple modifications for instances modern interior with fully furnished furniture, digital e-learning equipments or e- books, periodical newspapers, ancient manuscripts along with modern education & diverse database books.

This library create a space for youth, professionals , & senior citizens as integrated idea of educational hub with accessible resources.
